Abstract Stop Sign
Pictured above are the dry erase markers that I use on the whiteboard in my room. I will write down reminders, upcoming assignments, or even some motivational quotes. Using these markers and my whiteboard really just helps give my life a little bit of color to my life.
Yellow Brick in the Road
Pictured above are some of the lines from a soccer field. Even though I don't play soccer, my sister does, so soccer is a very big part of my life. I love going to her soccer games and cheering her and her team on. Within the image, I really like the texture of the turf.

Region 5
These are a collection of my regional leotards for gymnastics. Michigan is one of five states in Region 5 (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky). I have qualified to regionals all three years that I was eligible and it was super fun! At regionals, you are no longer competing for your gym, but for your state- I really enjoyed meeting new people and representing Team Michigan!

On Top of the Podium
These medals are from my state championships this year. It was by far my best meet of the 2018-2019 competition season. I got personal bests on bars and floor and I landed my vault for the first time of the season. I got first place on floor, making me a state champion, and I got second place all around, qualifying me to the Michigan State Team.

Lonely
Now that spring is here, dandelions are popping up everywhere. While some spring flowers haven't bloomed yet, I can always count on dandelions to add color to the previous winter gray. I love how vibrant the yellows are, so when I came upon a huge field of them, I had to photograph it.

Sea of Trainquility
I absolutely love the color pops on this stain glass. Also, I really enjoy the range of value of all the colors that is created because the glass is transparent and lets some light through. Lastly, I liked that the glass was geometric, but at the same time showed some flaws, making it unique and calming.
Caterpillar Crawl
Most of the places I go don't have those "classic" staircases anymore. I rarely see unique staircases that have pretty railings. My eye was immediately drawn to this railing because the white and dark brown created a good contrast and the structure itself was aesthetically pleasing to look at.
Googly Eyes
I was eating Mother's Day dinner with my family at a restaurant and this chandelier really caught my attention. I liked how uniform and geometric it was while still maintaining unique properties. Even though some people might think the burnt out lightbulb ruins the photography, I think it adds a unique and special touch that adds contrast.

Gift of the Earth
When I decided to take this photograph, it was because I enjoyed how the leaves were starting to grow again. This time of year can be somewhat ugly to walk around in because a lot of trees and plants are dead and aren't showing off their pretty foliage. I thought this tree was a glimpse into the beauty that nature is about to show off.
Garden Mandala
This is a picture of the garden in my front yard. Every Memorial Day weekend my whole family works to make really stand out by planting a large variety of flowers. While it may not bursting with color yet, I liked the sector shape and the pops of green being displayed.
